Bandhavgarh boasts the highest density of Royal Bengal tigers in all of India. The park is set against a dramatic backdrop of ancient cliffs and a 2,000-year-old fortress.

The Experience: Focus on the Tala Zone for a blend of history and wildlife, or the Magadhi Zone for excellent tiger sightings.

A Must-See: Shesh Shaiya, a massive 10th-century reclining statue of Lord Vishnu located deep within the forest.

Landscape: Rugged ridges, dense sal forests, and expansive rocky grasslands

Kanha is one of Asia’s largest and best-managed parks. It is renowned not only for its tigers but also for saving the Barasingha (swamp deer) from extinction.

The Experience: The Kanha Zone offers sweeping views of the "Maidan" (grasslands), perfect for photography. The Mukki Zone tends to be quieter and is excellent for spotting predators.

A Must-See: Sunrise at Bamni Dadar (known as "Sunset Point"), offering a panoramic view of the entire valley.

Landscape: A horseshoe-shaped valley featuring lush bamboo forests and vast grassy clearings.

Pench is situated on the border between the states of Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra. It is known for its beautiful teak forests and the Pench River, which winds its way through the park.

The experience: Known as the home of "Collarwali," the most famous tigress in Indian history. The Turia Gate is the most popular entry point.

A must-see: The river landscape near the Totladoh Dam, which attracts large numbers of waterfowl and herbivores.

Landscape: An open canopy of teak trees and rocky outcrops (an ideal habitat for leopards).
